The Open Grid Forum (OGF) has completed its process for electing its at-large board representatives. The new at-large board members are: Jason Carolan, Sun Microsystems; Charlie Catlett, TeraGrid, University of Chicago/Argonne National Lab; Hiro Kishimoto, Fujitsu; Bill Nitzberg, Altair Engineering; and Paul Strong, eBay.
These five at-large members will join the board representatives from the OGF's 10 Platinum organizational members: Intel, Oracle, IBM, Network Appliance, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Fujitsu-Siemens, UK eScience/DTI, EMC Corp. and Platform Computing.
The 15 board members will hold their first OGF Board meeting in Cupertino, Calif., on Aug. 24. At the Town Hall session at GridWorld/GGF18 in Washington D.C., the OGF community will have the opportunity to meet several members of the new board along with members of the OGF leadership team.
