Appistry is licensing and deploying Ounce Labs' security assurance software for use on its Appistry Enterprise Application Fabric (Appistry EAF) software. Appistry will use the Ounce solution to proactively scan its source code to assure that it meets the company's strict security standards before it is shipped.

Appistry's application fabric software products enable customers in industries such as financial services, intelligence, defense and telecommunications to more easily and cost-effectively deploy large-scale, time-critical applications across a virtualized "grid" of commodity-grade computers. Since organizations rely so heavily on the data processed by these applications, security is critical to ensure that Appistry's customers are able to take full advantage of the scalability, dependability and manageability provided by Appistry EAF.
