Valtira Marketing Platform Available On Amazon EC2

MINNEAPOLIS, July 8 -- Valtira today announced the availability of The Valtira Online Marketing Platform on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). Valtira customers now have access to the most cost-effective, scalable, flexible infrastructure to power their Web marketing solutions.

Amazon EC2 provides resizable compute capacity in the cloud and changes the economics of computing by allowing customers to pay only for the infrastructure software services and capacity that they actually use. Amazon has spent over a decade and $2 billion building the infrastructure, technical knowledge, and operational excellence to operate a world class Web-scale computing platform.

The Valtira Platform is now hosted in Amazon EC2 including content management, landing pages, campaign tracking, Web personalization and social networking software solutions. With Amazon EC2, Valtira customers pay only for the hardware and software they need to meet their business needs by adding virtual servers based on historical Web trends or future market needs.

We are pleased to see Valtira utilize Amazon EC2 to bring their customers the scalable and highly available Web infrastructure that they require, said Steve Rabuchin, director of developer relations and business development for Amazon Web Services.

Valtira customers now have an expanded range of hosting options for their Web solutions ranging from a shared hosting environment to the most secure, redundant environment on Amazon's proven network infrastructure and datacenters.

"Our customers now have an inexpensive way to gain a highly available Web infrastructure," said George Hadjiyanis, vice president of sales and marketing for Valtira. "If a client using our software solutions needs to scale for a big campaign, Amazon EC2 helps us deliver that quickly and affordably.

Valtira Solutions on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud are available immediately. For more information, visit www.valtira.com/cloud.
