Sarvega Selected By State Of WI To Secure DoJ XML Web Services
Sarvega Inc has been selected by the State of Wisconsin Department of Justice
(DOJ) for its eTIME (Electronic Transaction Information for Management of
Enforcement) project. The Wisconsin DOJ's innovative program will leverage
internet resources, existing systems, and the new US Department of Justice
Global Justice XML Data Model (Global JXDM) to provide the cost-effective
exchange of justice information across local, state and federal agencies.
"States are faced with a tremendous challenge -- providing the real-time
exchange of justice information in a secure, cost-effective manner across
multiple local, state, and federal systems" said Christopher Darby, Sarvega's
president and CEO. "This selection underscores the ability of Sarvega's XML
Guardian Gateway to help clients like Wisconsin's DOJ exchange important
information while addressing their stringent XML security and performance
requirements. We are pleased to be part of this innovative program."
The Wisconsin DOJ eTIME system facilitates the accessing of information from
various sources, including federal and local criminal records, automotive
records, and security alerts. eTIME uses the latest Internet standards
(including XML/XSL) and is accessible from any browser.
The Sarvega XML Guardian Gateway will provide high performance XML firewall
security for the eTIME project including XML content level authentication,
authorization, and auditing: as well as map state data into the Federal Global
JXDM XML formats with secure, on-board logging for digital forensics and
hardened appliance self-security.
The Sarvega XML Guardian Security Gateway is a high performance XML Web
Services security solution built from the ground-up with a "Security DNA" to
provide complete standards-compliant Web Services security and sophisticated
XML intrusion protection capability to mission-critical XML Web Services
deployments. The XML Guardian Security Gateway provides complete AAA trust
assurance, message integrity and confidentiality with on-board secure digital
forensics.
