GuardedNet, TippingPoint To Automate Security Functions

GuardedNet Inc and TippingPoint announced that GuardedNet's neuSECURE security management and incident response platform has been integrated with TippingPoint's UnityOne Intrusion Prevention System to provide customers with a unified solution to proactively automate enterprise security functions.

TippingPoint's UnityOne Intrusion Prevention System and GuardedNet's neuSECURE security information management platform combined will allow joint customers the ability to proactively block network attacks while detecting malicious traffic occurring on non-protected network segments. TippingPoint protects critical network segments from major threats, while notifications of these blocked attacks are sent to neuSECURE for correlation with other sources of information to help identify malicious traffic occurring on non-protected segments. Additionally, neuSECURE produces detailed reports on this data from its central repository for management, audit and regulatory bodies.
