Advertising.com Implements BladeLogic Data Center Software

BladeLogic Inc, a provider of data center automation software, announced that Advertising.com, a results-driven marketing services provider for interactive advertisers and publishers, has implemented BladeLogic's data center automation suite, BladeLogic Operations Manager, to automate its data center processes.

In the first phase of the implementation, Advertising.com deployed BladeLogic's Network Shell, the industry's most secure command programming language that enables systems administrators to seamlessly access and manage any server where actions can be executed on a one-to-many basis. Moving forward, Advertising.com will implement the entire BladeLogic suite to better address all phases of IT infrastructure and application management, including server and software provisioning, application change management, remote administration, and ongoing patch and compliance management. As a result, Advertising.com will be able to dramatically reduce data center costs, considerably improve responsiveness and significantly enhance server security.
