LogicaCMG ENTERS GLOBAL SAP NetWeaver PARTNER INITIATIVE

LogicaCMG announced that it will enter the global SAP NetWeaver partner initiative as Global Services Partner of SAP. This initiative will enable LogicaCMG to provide its customers with a more flexible business approach, helping organizations integrate people, information and business processes across the enterprise. SAP NetWeaver is a comprehensive tool which helps reducing the cost of integrating applications and platforms in both front and back offices. SAP NetWeaver works with existing IT infrastructures to facilitate and manage change, as well as enabling the Enterprise Services Architecture, SAP's blueprint for service-oriented business solutions.

LogicaCMG's adoption of SAP NetWeaver facilitates customers' quick preconfigured integration with non-SAP products and enables the company to offer its customers enterprise applications with the flexibility of Web services and other open standards. SAP NetWeaver embraces Internet standards such as HTTP, XML, and Web services, ensuring openness and interoperability with Microsoft .NET, Websphere and Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE) environments.

As part of the initiative, LogicaCMG will use SAP NetWeaver to deliver mobile capabilities, such as mobile asset management, mobile service for handhelds, mobile time, mobile travel and mobile warehouse management. LogicaCMG will be deploying mobile applications based on SAP NetWeaver's Mobile Engine, establishing new ways to interact with enterprise systems and empower new user communities to participate in collaborative business processes. This will result in real time and up-to-date information for increased user satisfaction, customer profitability, and competitive advantage.
