BEA Announces Global Seminar Program On Creating SOAs
As part of its ongoing commitment to the Java developer community, BEA Systems
announced its third annual BEA dev2dev days, a global tour designed to educate
developers on how they can use BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1 to build applications
using a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). The free, one-day developer
seminars will discuss the latest standards and open-source development
technologies to help developers to design, build and deploy enterprise-class
applications on the industry-leading BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1. BEA, along
with dev2dev days partner sponsors HP, VERITAS and Motive, Inc. and fellow
traveler Intel will tour 23 cities across North America, Asia and Europe from
October through November.
BEA dev2dev days 2004 will give development professionals practical tools for
building and deploying SOA applications to help them produce serious results.
Experienced presenters will walk attendees through real-world technical
demonstrations and code-level training modules and tutorials showcasing how to
easily develop service-oriented Web applications, Web services and business
process workflows.
"The best way to understand new technologies is to see them in action," said
Cornelius Willis, vice president of developer marketing for BEA Systems. "BEA
is offering crucial information on how Java developers can leverage the latest
open-source standards and technologies to build enterprise-class applications
on BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1. Come to dev2dev days for free and see what's new
with BEA."
"BEA dev2dev days offer a wealth of resources for developers striving to stay
at the cutting edge of application development," said Rene Bonvanie, vice
president of corporate marketing at VERITAS Software. "As a Platinum Sponsor
of this year's program, we're excited about the opportunity to show how
VERITAS' market leading J2EE application performance management solutions can
optimize performance of BEA WebLogic applications."
