Aladdin eSafe4 FR2 Achieves OPSEC Certification From Check Point
Aladdin Knowledge Systems Inc announced that eSafe4 Feature Release 2 (FR2),
the latest version of Aladdin's award-winning gateway-based content security
solution, has achieved OPSEC (Open Platform for Security) certification from
Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. Together, eSafe4 FR2 and Check Point
VPN-1 Pro provide customers with simplified security management to help
protect against malicious network and application level attacks.
The integration between eSafe4 FR2 and Check Point's OPSEC ELA Event Logging
in SmartView Tracker and AMON Application Monitoring, delivers advanced,
integrated logging and monitoring features in any eSafe installation mode.
With this integration, eSafe has the ability to send all event logs and status
information to Check Point's management server, allowing customers to view and
analyze all security events and monitor the health of their anti virus gateway
from Check Point's SmartCenter management console. Customers will enjoy the
benefits of simplified management and quicker detection of potential problems.
"eSafe4 FR2 provides organizations with powerful content security accompanied
by new levels of integration and management with Check Point VPN-1 Pro," said
Shimon Gruper, vice president of technologies for Aladdin eSafe Business Unit.
"Customers experience not only the power of eSafe security, but also the ease
of use offered through these latest integrations with Check Point's VPN-1 Pro.
This latest OPSEC certification underscores eSafe's commitment to combining
unmatched security with easy, ongoing management -- a combination rarely found
in competitive solutions."
"Aladdin's continued effort and commitment to deliver OPSEC certified
solutions demonstrates the value and demand customers place on highly
integration solutions," said Upesh Patel, director, business development for
Check Point Software Technologies. "Through this enhanced integration,
customers will benefit from additional management capabilities alongside the
protection provided against viruses, spam and application level malicious code
attacks."
