WEBIFY SOLUTIONS ATTAINS 'ON DEMAND OPTIMIZED' STATUS

Webify Solutions announced that it has achieved the optimized status under IBM's PartnerWorld Industry Network program. The advanced designation is granted to only a select few independent software vendors (ISV) that have verified enablement with a customer on at least two IBM middleware products and an IBM server, published an IBM joint customer win reference, and have written an IBM joint industry on demand solution brief. Webify Solutions is one of four companies who were recently invited to become optimized participants.

As part of IBM's $1 billion investment in ISV programs during 2004, PartnerWorld Industry Networks are Web-based communities that integrate and organize the PartnerWorld experience for ISVs by industry. This ensures that ISVs are more effectively aligned with IBM marketing and sales organizations to deliver solutions that meet the business transformation requirements of customers in each industry. Initially covering the banking, financial markets, health care, life sciences, retail and telecommunications industries, PartnerWorld Industry Networks will expand to support additional verticals, with prioritization based on ISV input.

"We believe that achieving optimized status with IBM is confirmation that we're providing innovative, on demand solutions to customers' challenges in complex industries," said Manoj Saxena, CEO of Webify Solutions. "Our initial focus on the healthcare and insurance industries will continue because these businesses have extreme needs for service-oriented business applications that allow information transparency and seamless transaction flow among business partners, customers and employees."

Webify's solutions are in a new category of enterprise applications that dynamically integrate people, processes, and information across enterprise and application boundaries. Based on a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), On Demand Applications enable companies to publish business processes and transactions as business Web services that customers and business partners can discover and provision "on demand" into their own business processes with a few clicks of a mouse. Companies can then build on each other's services in this manner, creating new loosely coupled applications that drive transaction flow and business visibility across the extended enterprise.

"IBM is joining forces with the ISV community to deliver open, integrated solutions to customers industry by industry," said Buell Duncan, general manager of ISV & Developer Relations at IBM. "We designed PartnerWorld Industry Networks based on the valuable input our ISV partners provided us around the world. Hundreds of ISVs are already taking advantage of the new resources, and we are dedicated to helping our partners increase their productivity and fulfill our joint customer needs."
