SPI Dynamics, GuardedNet To Provide Integrated Solution

SPI Dynamics and GuardedNet, a provider of advanced information security management and incident response software solutions, announced a partnership that will provide customers with an integrated solution between their enterprise products WebInspect and neuSECURE.

Through AVDL compliance, an OASIS standard that provides a uniform way of describing application security vulnerabilities using XML, customers can import Web application layer vulnerability data from SPI Dynamics' WebInspect into GuardedNet's central management console. Security managers using neuSECURE now have integrated access to the most critical enterprise vulnerabilities to improve their incident management prioritization. Customers will be able to easily integrate these solutions, maximizing their existing IT security investment and reducing organizational exposure to application level security breaches.

"As concerns grow over threats attacking the critical business applications, our customers are aggressively including application security into their overall security portfolio. We are dedicated to growing with them to ensure we support the products that are important to their security operations," said Rich Telljohann, vice president of Business Development for GuardedNet. "Supporting SPI Dynamics' application assessment product demonstrates this commitment to our customers and their preferred choice for application security technology."

"To adequately address security threats in real-time, customers need a holistic view of their security posture and the attack behaviors that could impact their infrastructure," said Mark Godschalk, vice president of business development for SPI Dynamics. "The ability to incorporate application vulnerability information from WebInspect in an AVDL format into the neuSECURE platform allows IT staff a complete view of their security data and where they stand in the protection of their corporate infrastructure."
