Wily Completes Integration With Fujitsu Systemwalker

Wily Technology announced that it has completed integration with Fujitsu Limited's Systemwalker that will make it easier for customers to manage and monitor Java applications within Fujitsu's Systemwalker System Management Framework. In addition, Introscope is now certified as "Systemwalker Enabled Advanced" which means Wily's J2EE management solution is fully integrated with Fujitsu's operation management system.

Introscope is Wily's flagship enterprise application management solution that helps organizations ensure the performance and availability of their mission-critical applications and supporting systems. Fujitsu's Systemwalker System Management Framework monitors operational status across multiple systems, networks and applications. It detects problems and identifies their potential impact on business processes. Leveraging the open architecture of Introscope, Systemwalker users can now enhance the capability of Systemwalker and extend its capabilities to monitor, improve and manage their J2EE applications.

Fujitsu's "Systemwalker Enabled" certification program verifies that partner solutions can be seamlessly integrated within the Systemwalker Framework. Now that Introscope is certified Systemwalker Enabled Advanced, SystemWalker customers can now extend their system management framework seamlessly into their production Java environments and get deep-level visibility into the performance and availability of their Java applications. By integrating Introscope alerts and performance metrics with SystemWalker, system operators can now monitor their mission critical Java applications -the heart of their IT infrastructure -- as well as their interactions with the rest of the infrastructure including Web Servers, Web Application Servers, databases and back-end transaction systems in one console. This makes it easier for operations and application support staff to ensure that their entire application infrastructure is running at peak performance.

"Wily is committed to providing world class application management tools to users of Fujitsu systems worldwide," said Mas Morimoto, vice president of business development and Asia Pacific region for Wily Technology. "Fujitsu Limited, as well as our distributor in Japan, IT Frontier, are valued partners for our customers in Japan. SystemWalker and Introscope integration is an important advance in application manageability for users of Fujitsu systems."

"With Introscope now certified as Systemwalker Enabled Advanced, it will be much easier for customers to construct a platform for managing their enterprise systems comprehensively from the infrastructure level to the J2EE application level," said Masata Nitto, division manager of Operation Management Software Business Division of Fujitsu Software Business Group. "Fujitsu's integrated operations management solution based on Systemwalker increases its value to customers by providing unified management capabilities across the entire infrastructure. Integration with Wily's Introscope delivers a world-class J2EE application service-level management solution."

IT Frontier has been the master distributor of Wily Technology's solutions in Japan since December of 2002 and also has a strategic partnership with Fujitsu. Through its sales and marketing activities, IT Frontier distributes Introscope certified for Systemwalker Enabled Advanced.
