VERITAS Joins Open Source Development Lab
VERITAS Software Corp announced that the company has joined the Open Source
Development Labs (OSDL) and will participate in the Lab's Data Center
Workgroup. By participating in OSDL, VERITAS is furthering its Linux
commitments to customers and accelerating the process of making Linux
enterprise-ready.
VERITAS, a provider of software that enables utility computing has been
progressively expanding its Linux product portfolio that today includes: data
protection, high availability, storage management, server automation and
application performance management software. In doing so, VERITAS is
continually delivering greater enterprise capability to Linux and driving down
the overall cost of IT management.
