ComponentOne Releases ComponentOne Studio Enterprise 2004 v3

ComponentOne released ComponentOne Studio Enterprise 2004 v3. This latest release includes Flash for .NET, and new features for Preview for .NET, Menus and Toolbars for .NET, Reports for .NET, Chart for .NET, WebChart for ASP.NET, plus more.

Studio Enterprise is the only component subscription targeting all run- time environments; .NET, ASP.NET, Mobile, and ActiveX, and all application layers including data, the cornerstone layer of the Studio Enterprise framework, as well as presentation, reporting, and transformation. This integrated framework is also the most comprehensive component subscription available anywhere delivering over 110 grid, reporting, charting, data, user- interface and eCommerce components plus a yearly subscription that includes one full year of new releases, updates and upgrades, select beta's, e-mail support and more.

New in Studio Enterprise 2004 v3

  • Flash for .NET: This new tool easily generates single frame and animated Macromedia Flash (SWF) files.
  • Menus and Toolbars for .NET:
    • New time-saving WinForms menu editor adding drag/drop, XML load/save, and design-time preview.
    • Improved support for embedded controls in toolbars.
    • C1Command objects can now be associated with intrinsic or other third-party controls.
  • Preview for .NET: This major feature allows users to create PDF style fillable forms with the new "C1Preview Forms" feature.
  • Reports for .NET: Users can add support for barcode fields, custom fields and tilters, and enhanced label/envelope reports.
  • DataObjects for .NET and WebDataObjects for ASP.NET: Effortlessly create schema from an existing ADO.NET dataset, an XSD file, or C1DataExpress components with the convenient new Conversion Wizard.
  • Chart for .NET and WebChart for ASP.NET: This new feature offers enhanced data visualization with new customizable point styles, trend lines and function plotting classes.
