Sensory Networks, NEXCOM Form Security Partnership
Sensory Networks, a developer of hardware acceleration technology for network
security applications, and NEXCOM, an ODM provider of security appliances and
blade servers to the network security industry, formed a partnership to
jointly deliver next generation, hardware accelerated network security
appliances targeted at security vendors developing high performance
multifunction gateway security appliances.
The new appliance range enables network security vendors to bring appliances
incorporating hardware acceleration faster into the market by selecting an off
the shelf, multi-port chassis with integrated layer 2-7 network security
acceleration in conjunction with the latest 32/64-bit (EMT 64) Intel Xeon CPU
and E7520 chipsets. Sensory Networks provides a suite of sophisticated tools
for vendors to then rapidly migrate existing applications to onto the
accelerated platform.
