INRA DEPLOYS NINE-SITE inSORS ACCESS GRID SYSTEM

inSORS Integrated Communications Inc announced another multi-site deployment of its inSORS Access Grid system.

The Inland Northwest Research Alliance (INRA) recently purchased nine 8-Port Cubes, an Access Grid appliance, for all of its member locations. INRA also deployed an Enterprise Manager/Virtual Venue server and an IG "Archive and Live" Recorder server to enable private, secure meetings and record those sessions for review at a later date. The Enterprise Manager/Virtual Venue also allows for instant connectivity to public venues and the greater Access Grid community. Data sharing capabilities and connection to H.323 devices are also enabled through the Web server.

INRA is a union of eight universities and a Department of Energy national laboratory. Together, they provide business, industry, government and students with research and educational opportunities never before available. INRA has brought together the University of Idaho, Idaho State, Boise State, the University of Montana, Montana State, Utah State, Washington State, the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory to focus on areas of science and engineering that include environmental sciences, energy sciences and national security, to name a few. The combined R&D package offered by INRA means the users of those tools can find the facilities they need ready and waiting in the Northwest. The inSORS Access Grid system will be used to make these resources even more readily available.
