ENIGMATEC, SONIC TO DELIVER ESB ON DEMAND FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES

Sonic Software and Enigmatec Corp announced a technology partnership to deliver ESB on Demand for financial services. The partnership combines the distributed services architecture of Sonic ESB (enterprise service bus) with automated policy-based management provided by the Enigmatec Execution Management System (EMS).

"The Enigmatec EMS provides a strategic management layer between the business processes that drive an enterprise and the IT resources required to execute them," says Duncan Johnston-Watt, CTO of Enigmatec Corp. "Essentially, EMS lets you program your infrastructure in line with your business imperatives. EMS is the control plane that lets you dynamically manage your Sonic ESB infrastructure. It is this powerful combination that allows us to deliver ESB on Demand."

The combination of these technologies provides financial services companies with the ability to automate their operational procedures in a flexible and scalable way. This reduces complexity while delivering better utilization of resources, automation of disaster recovery strategies, reduction in operational risk and the prevention of business downtime, all of which ensure the highest quality of service.

"Grid computing is beginning to see practical, enterprise adoption in resource intensive application environments, like financial services," said Gordon Van Huizen, CTO of Sonic Software. "The combination of the enterprise service bus with the Enigmatec management system provides organizations with a robust and proven software platform to deliver ESB-based enterprise Grids."
