Ipedo Continues Strong Growth in China

Ipedo, a provider of information integration and intelligence software, demonstrated its continued momentum in the Chinese market with the addition of five new customers. Beijing Urban Construction Company, Chuzhou Power Supply Bureau, Lanzhou Utilities, Shanghai Medical University and Eastern China Power have been added to the growing list of customers in China who chose the Ipedo XML Intelligence Platform.

Ipedo also announced the addition of LangChao Group, ChinaTech Inc and Holley Group to its growing base of SI partners in China.

"China is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, and an important marketplace for Ipedo," said Nick Zhang, CEO of Ipedo. "We are seeing growing investment in the area of information integration and on-demand delivery in the China market, especially in utilities and construction."

Ipedo's Asian headquarters is based in Shanghai to take advantage of local development talent and tap into the growing market in China. According to IDC, the China IT market will amount to $46 billion by 2007, approximately twice the size of the market in 2002. China will continue to expand its share over the next five years in the Asia-Pacific market, growing from 31 percent in 2002 to 37.2 percent in 2007.

The new international customers announced today join Ipedo's growing roster of clients, which includes Aventis Pharmaceutical, British Telecom, Hewlett Packard and the U.S. Navy. Financial services, life sciences, manufacturing and high technology organizations all rely on Ipedo's advanced XML capabilities to power custom information views in Web and portal applications.
