Paremus Launches Infiniflow To Global Grid Industry At Gt'04

Paremus Ltd launched Infiniflow, the first true autonomic data processing fabric designed to scale to the largest of global enterprise environments, to the global Grid industry.

"In simple terms, Infiniflow is an enterprise software solution that fuses conventional Grid computing with messaging middleware and business workflows, to provide a single enterprise Grid fabric against which organizations can run their data processing requirements," said Richard Nicholson, CTO of Paremus. "We regard the enterprise information system more as an 'ecology' that 'lives and grows' rather than a collection of 'stove-piped' systems built to meet specific requirements. Infiniflow allows an IT architect to view his infrastructure as a business data landscape against which anonymous resources transform information, rather than a set of interconnected hardware elements."

Designed to take full advantage of enterprise data center solutions, Infiniflow will deliver benefits when deployed on commodity blade architectures as well as traditional server infrastructures.

"Infiniflow can be initially deployed as a simple conventional Grid 'point solution,' and then scaled and implemented across an entire enterprise's data center infrastructure," said Mike Francis, business development manager of Paremus. "With Infiniflow, an enterprise will be able to lower capital and operational costs, by using commodity components and reducing the time taken to build, adapt, scale and operate its data center environments."

Being both processor and operating system agnostic, Infiniflow presents a heterogeneous pool of compute resources against which applications can be run in the most effective manner.
