Tech Laboratories Introduces
DynaTraX 'Virtual Technician'
Tech Laboratories Inc announced its DynaTraX Virtual Technician, which
provides autonomic self-healing and self-managing of network technologies, is
available for distribution.
The DynaTraX hardware system, an intelligent, physical-layer configuration
cross-connect "matrix" control system, is positioned between the network
equipment and the delivery distribution sides. The Virtual Technician as an
enterprise management solution, monitors local and remote networks for
anomalies associated with intrusions/hackers and network failures.
Instructions are sent to a DynaTraX unit based on that specific alarm,
providing automation of the healing process at the physical layer.
"Traditional network enterprise management system providers have
successfully
responded to most administrative, security management and monitoring
activities," said Bernard M. Ciongoli, president of Tech Laboratories.
"However, without dispatching technical personnel to the site, these same
systems fall short when it is necessary to physically isolate, rearrange or
quickly respond to a need for replacing and blocking defective circuits and
equipment -- quickly recovering from a crucial failure. Additionally,
traditional systems lag when it comes to automatically maintaining up-to-date
records for rearranged network assets, user information and configuration
connectivity assignments. Performing all of these critical physical layer
activities, using present day network enterprise management system scenarios,
is at best a timely and expensive process, usually requiring on-site manual
intervention to accomplish physical layer tasks of network maintenance
activities. The Virtual Technician is a cost-effective and efficient solution
to this problem."
The company recently announced the introduction of DynaTraX Enterprise
Management System to thwart the increasing threat posed by cyber terrorists.
This software/hardware system provides the ultimate in positive access
security.
