Former PeopleSoft Exec Joins Confluent As VP Of Marketing

Confluent Software Inc, a pioneer of Web services management solutions, announced that Paola Lubet has joined the company as vice president of marketing. Bringing more than 16 years of technology, business development and marketing experience, Lubet joins Confluent Software to further grow the company and expand its reach in North America and abroad. Confluent Software recently expanded into Europe.

Hailing from PeopleSoft where she was vice president of product marketing, Paola was responsible for the global marketing strategy for the AppConnect product line and the overall PeopleSoft technology platform. Her business experience and engineering background will significantly help in taking Confluent to the next level.

Prior to PeopleSoft, Lubet served as senior vice president of marketing and products at SoftwareMarkets, where she was responsible for marketing, business development and product strategy. She also gained invaluable experience at Blue Pumpkin Software as vice president of corporate development and worldwide marketing.

In addition, Lubet held several executive positions at Oracle, working to further establish Oracle as a leader in database management software for the Internet. Among her achievements, she successfully led the positioning and worldwide launch of Oracle8i. Prior to joining Oracle, Lubet held several engineering management positions at Apple Computer.
