Netreo Releases High-Capacity
Omniscient Platform
Netreo unveiled their new "High- Capacity" model of Omniscient, their
revolutionary Network and Security Management line of products. This latest
addition to the product family increases the maximum single appliance polling
capacity from 2000 to 10,000 elements, enabling a single system to scale up to
meet the capacity needs of large enterprise companies.
The Omniscient platform and related modules is a completely integrated IT
monitoring solution that monitors networks, systems and applications from a
consolidated dashboard-type view. It uses standards-based protocols to collect
status, security and utilization data from virtually any IT device across the
enterprise, relaying urgent messages in real-time via email or mobile device
and archiving historical data for reporting purposes. Omniscient includes
built-in support for most IT environments, with dozens of multi-vendor
products, operating systems' and applications certified for compatibility.
