Platform Logic AppFire Suite Prevents Hackers From 'Day Zero'

Platform Logic Inc, unveiled AppFire Suite v 2.0, its host intrusion prevention software that proactively protects operating systems and applications from known and unknown viruses, worms and unauthorized network intrusions from "day zero."

"Hackers are easily bypassing network-based security systems, taking over computers and creating a constant atmosphere of fire-fighting," said Homayoon Tajalli, president and CEO of Platform Logic. "AppFire is the first system that individually detects commands that are outside an application's usual behavior and prevents the commands from being executed.
