SpiritSoft Delivers SpiritWave Real-Time

SpiritSoft announced the general availability of SpiritWave Real-Time, the next generation Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). This high performance real-time service bus extends the ability of the enterprise to maximize its investment in existing hardware and software solutions with the flexibility to adapt, change, and provision applications to meet business needs in real-time. SpiritWave Real-Time is the first software to extend the ESB with adaptable server-side Grid technology.

SpiritWave Real-Time is a rich combination of enterprise integration messaging, collaborative programming and shared memory using real-time caching, and distributed active management technologies that provide the means to deliver a diverse set of information services from a unified, high performance IT infrastructure. This IT foundation comes with an overall lower cost to the business and a greater ability to meet business change as it happens.

Robert Davies, SpiritSoft's chief technology officer, said, "Enterprise infrastructure must behave the way a business behaves -- accommodating the dynamic management of resources to meet fluctuating demand and system outage. SpiritWave Real-Time allows users to remotely 'hot-deploy' and manage applications and services enabling business leaders to flexibly transform core information services to meet a changing market."

SpiritWave Real-Time provides an adaptable, intelligent, uniform and message-centric distributed operating system that allows organizations to link disparate resources in order to optimize workloads and provide computational and data resources "on-the-fly" across enterprise boundaries. The real-time service bus forms an agile "service-on-demand" infrastructure based on a virtual operating system that uses distributed JMX for event collation and services aggregation.

SpiritWave Real-Time dynamically provisions services for any J2EE container while using and extending existing management infrastructure. Through its reliance on standards, including JMS, JCache and JMX, SpiritSoft's real-time solution pulls together disparate technologies into a continuous data fabric that rapidly aligns the enterprise infrastructure to serve real-time business needs.

SpiritWave Real-Time Service Bus Components:

  • Administrative: Manual and Automated Management
  • Applications: Distributed Processes & Services
  • Distributed Programming Model: Service, Process & Shared Memory Model
  • Virtual Operating System based on JMX & J2EE containers.

Pricing for SpiritWave Real-Time begins at $6,000 per CPU.
