Waveset A 'Visionary' In
Metadirectory Magic Quadrant
Waveset Technologies Inc, a leading provider of innovative identity
management
solutions, announced that Gartner, the technology research and advisory firm,
has placed Waveset in the "visionaries" quadrant of its Metadirectory Magic
Quadrant.
According to the report, "Faced with the harsh reality of maintaining
multiple
directories in the IT infrastructure, enterprises are turning to solutions
that integrate directories. An integration solution can reduce the
administrative burden of multiple directories, increase the overall accuracy
of data and enforce data precedence."
Products which qualify for Gartner's Metadirectory Magic Quadrant
demonstrate
the ability to aggregate data distributed across multiple directories or
repositories. This definition includes conventional metadirectory products as
well as the emerging category of virtual-directory products.
This year, Waveset expanded its identity management product suite with the
addition of Waveset Directory Master, the industry's first cross-platform
directory management solution to provide seamless identity integration across
multiple directory environments.
