IPtimize, Converse Join Forces For Real-Time Reliability

Converse Software LLC, a premier provider of service level management solutions, and IPtimize Inc, a fast-growing consulting and managed communications services company, announced a joint technology agreement for remote network monitoring of small-to-medium-sized businesses. Under the terms of the agreement, IPtimize will leverage the Converse Software's NimBUS solution to provide a remote monitored firewall service for its burgeoning customer base, including future plans to provide overall monitoring of their entire networks.

"As small and medium businesses are continuously struggling with the complexity of managing their IT and network infrastructure, IPtimize can dramatically simplify this process and provide high quality network monitoring service in real-time," said Gary Read, president of Converse Software. "Converse is excited to be providing its software as part of this service, and believes that small businesses deserve the same quality of network monitoring as large enterprises."

"We provide intelligence, integration and manageability to our clients' communications infrastructure needs," said Jeff Veres, president and chief operating officer of IPtimize. "NimBUS is a sophisticated, high-performance cost-effective network management solution previously unavailable to our target market of small-to-medium-sized businesses."

Converse Software's award-winning NimBUS products and the IPtimize service platform monitor a diverse range of applications, servers, databases and networks. Advanced service level management capabilities define, monitor and automatically report on end-user service levels from a single product. Service views enable individuals at all levels of the business to gain a rapid insight into how critical business applications are performing.
