RackSaver MAKES 'WISH' COME TRUE FOR MUTABLE REALMS

RackSaver, a premier provider of high-density individual rack-optimized servers, blade servers and supercomputing clusters announced that it has been selected by Mutable Realms Inc, a company that specializes in online role playing games, to provide an Intel Xeon processor-based BladeRack to host their new online role playing game, WISH.

Unlike conventional Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPG) that confine players to a server with only a few hundred other players, WISH defines the new category of online gaming called Ultra Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (UMMORPG). A highly-scalable BladeRack server cluster infrastructure enables WISH to support tens of thousands of simultaneous players in a single gaming environment.

"We chose RackSaver to provide us with hardware because of their solid reputation in the industry and their continued commitment to delivering highly dependable, performance driven servers," said Marc Laukien, president of Mutable Realms. "With our newly acquired RackSaver BladeRack hosting WISH, it will present a seamless online experience and provide endless opportunities for every player of the game."

"We are committed to creating products that can be customized and integrated into every industry," said David Driggers, CEO of RackSaver. "The new game WISH will allow tens of thousands of users to experience online gaming like never before. Mutable Realms has created an incredible gaming environment, and we are excited to be part of it."

The RackSaver BladeRack selected by Mutable Realms contains 176 Intel Xeon processors in one industry standard-sized rack with a combined processing power of nearly one teraflop. The BladeRack also contains nearly 176GB of high-speed memory and 5.2TB of storage capacity.
