Microsoft Selects .NET Products For Use In Technology Centers

Compuware Corporation, a Microsoft Technology Center Alliance Member and founding member of the Microsoft Visual Studio Integration Program, announced that its .NET tools for application debugging and performance testing have been selected for use at the U.S. Microsoft Technology Centers. Microsoft Technology Center customers will have access to components of Compuware DevPartner Studio, Compuware QACenter Performance Edition and Compuware Vantage Suite for benchmarking and evaluating .NET applications at centers located in Austin, Texas; Boston; Chicago; and Silicon Valley.

"As .NET environments proliferate across corporate enterprises, Microsoft customers want to ensure the successful deployment of their applications by utilizing proven, third-party tools like those offered by Compuware," said Adam Hecktman, director of the Microsoft Technology Center in Chicago. "Customers utilizing our Microsoft Technology Centers and working with our Alliance Members like Compuware will achieve maximum .NET application results."

For developers, Compuware DevPartner Studio improves the .NET skill level, knowledge base and productivity of IT staffs, helping them find and correct problems early in the development process. It dynamically collects and analyzes .NET program data on the local and remote tiers of a distributed application, automatically detecting errors and performance bottlenecks.

For testers, Compuware QACenter delivers a unique offering of automated testing solutions to validate .NET applications. QACenter helps isolate problems and ensures the performance and scalability of applications built on .NET technologies, ensuring that systems can handle anticipated load before applications go live.

For application management professionals, the Compuware Vantage suite identifies application transactions to help customers deploy .NET applications with confidence and proactively manage their performance. Vantage provides effective .NET service level management support in the areas of application profiling and analysis, performance monitoring and troubleshooting and growth management.
