Parasoft SOAPtest 2.1 Supports
OASIS And UN/CEFACT ebXML
Parasoft, a leading provider of Automated Error Prevention (AEP) software
solutions announced the general availability of SOAPtest 2.1 with support for
ebXML, a modular suite of specifications that enables enterprises of any size
and in any geographical location to conduct business over the Internet. ebXML
was jointly developed by the United Nations Center for Trade Facilitation and
Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT) and the Organization for Advancement of
Structured Information Standards (OASIS).
"Due to the increasing use of ebXML to build upon SOAP, we expanded
SOAPtest
2.1 to support these new open standards for business-to-business services,"
said Gary Brunell, Parasoft vice president of professional services. "Through
our involvement with OASIS and ebXML we will promote the development of
reliable and secure Web services that facilitate interoperability among
partners across the Internet."
Parasoft recently joined OASIS as a contributing member and will become
involved in OASIS ebXML technical committees. OASIS is a global consortium
that drives the development, convergence and adoption of e-business
standards.
"Industry support for ebXML is growing rapidly, and we are pleased Parasoft
has joined OASIS to promote open standards for Web services," said Karl Best,
OASIS vice president. "ebXML has begun to make e-business Web services
possible for any company or organization in the world by setting a standard
for exchanging reliable business messages and communicating data."
