MQSoftware Releases Updated
Version Of DataFlow Studio
MQSoftware, Inc., a leading provider of middleware, transaction and EAI
technology solutions announced that an updated version of DataFlow Studio, has
added a new capability that will provide secure file store and forward
capabilities via an easy-to-use Web-based user interface. The new component, Q
Gateway, is part of DataFlow Studio, MQSoftware's packaged application
integration toolset along with six other components that enables the
transport, transformation, and orchestration of data critical for application
integration.
DataFlow Studio and its new Q Gateway component provide a cost-effective
and
secure solution for optimizing the exchange of data between a company's secure
internal computer server and external users and customers. Q Gateway users get
assured delivery of files and centralized administration and management of all
enterprise file transfers from one location. Q Gateway helps enterprises like
insurance companies, for example, have their employees from field or branch
locations access the server with their Web browser over a dial-up link, select
the data they need and have it forwarded to their electronic inbox for further
review, processing or forwarding. For example, Q Gateway can provide insurance
companies with a secure and reliable means of exchanging claims information
from individual clearing houses to healthcare providers.
"Q Gateway was created to meet the demands of enterprises who need to
securely
transfer a file once and use it many times," said Bill Cecchi, president and
CEO of MQSoftware, Inc. "Now with government regulations like HIPAA, our
DataFlow Studio suite with this addition has immediate applicability in making
it easy for companies to conform to these new standards. We see healthcare,
insurance, banks, and government agencies as ideal users of this toolset who
also need to capitalize on broker and middleware technologies like
WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker."
