CA Expands AllFusion Suite For
Cross-Platform Management
Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) announced extensions to its
AllFusion line of application life cycle management solutions that streamline
software configuration tasks, simplify mainframe change management, and enable
customers to consistently manage change and perform configuration tasks across
platforms, development environments and methodologies.
The extensions, part of CA's innovative AllFusion Change Management Suite,
include the general availability of AllFusion Change Manager Enterprise
Workbench, which integrates complex software development processes across
mainframe and distributed platforms, and AllFusion Endevor Change Manager 4.0,
the industry's leading mainframe change and configuration management
solution.

functionality
our customers need in an easy-to-implement, easy-to-use package," said Gregory
Clancy, CA's AllFusion brand manager. "Regardless of what combination of
mainframe, Windows, UNIX, and Linux our customers are deploying, they can now
take advantage of a common, fully integrated approach to manage their
development operations."
Designed to streamline and automate complex software development processes
across the enterprise, AllFusion Change Manager Enterprise Workbench provides
a simple, centralized point-of-access for performing a full range of change
and configuration management tasks. Such simplicity speeds development and
eliminates many of the risks associated with developing complex applications,
such as modifications to code without proper review.
AllFusion Change Manager Enterprise Workbench is also integrated with
AllFusion Endevor Change Manager and AllFusion Harvest Change Manager, a
change and configuration management solution that helps customers manage
enterprise-wide development activities throughout the application development
life cycle.

AllFusion Endevor Change Manager 4.0 provides maximum productivity while
reducing the cost of managing mainframe software development and deployment.
Enhancements include support for UNIX Systems Service (USS) and HFS, and other
user-requested features such as element registration and element catalog, long
element and file name support, additional processor JCL parameters, site
symbolics and improved name masking.
