inSORS To AccessGrid-Enable GGF8
For Remote Participants
inSORS is once again pleased to announce that they will AccessGrid-enable
the
Working Group and Research Group Sessions at the Global Grid Forum's upcoming
event, GGF8. Billed as "Building Grids -- Obstacles & Opportunities," GGF8
will be held June 24 through June 27 in Seattle, Washington.
As part of inSORS' support of the event, remote GGF members who are unable
to
attend the conference in person will be able to participate using the inSORS
Grid and the underlying Access Grid technology. Remote participants will
include participants from US locations as well as several international sites
from Korea, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Amsterdam. Participation levels
will vary from viewers of the training session to interactive participants in
many of the Working Group and Research Group sessions.
These sessions will be recorded and made available by inSORS. To schedule a
playback session, please e-mail Jim Miller at jmiller@insors.com.
The Global Grid Forum is a community-initiated forum of individual
researchers
and practitioners working on distributed computing, or "grid" technologies.
GGF is the result of a merger of the Grid Forum, the eGrid European Grid
Forum, and the Grid community in Asia-Pacific. For more information on GGF8,
