IWS To Feature Business/Tech
Leaders From Wireless Industry
CNA Wireless, host and organizer of the International Wireless Symposium to
be
held in San Diego September 22-23, 2003, has announced an all-star line up of
industry leaders and key technology companies participating in this year's
event.
Supporting the theme of Ubiquitous Mobility, IWS 2003 is organized into two
focused tracks to facilitate discussion of emerging applications and business
models, as well as the technologies behind the scene. IWS2003 is officially
endorsed by the Wi-Fi Alliance (www.wi-fi.com) and the CDMA
Development Group (www.cdg.org).

Scott Carson, president of Connexion by Boeing, one of the event's featured
speakers, will explore the implications of broadband connectivity at 39,000
feet, the newest hot spot for in-flight communications. Mr. Carson's
presentation will include an in depth review of a 3-month demo program
conducted with Lufthansa and British Airways.
