RSA Security Extends Web Access
Management Software
RSA Security Inc., a trusted name in e-security, announced the availability
of
RSA ClearTrust web access management software with RedHat Linux, RedHat
Advanced Server and the SuSE Enterprise Server platforms. RSA Security's
standards-based approach to Web access management helps organizations improve
relationships, generate revenue and reduce costs by providing secure access to
multiple web-based applications and services. With extended platform and
server support, customers can deploy RSA ClearTrust Web access management
across their enterprise with minimal impact to their existing IT
infrastructure.
In a report released by IDC, the total number of servers shipped with the
Linux operating system preinstalled hit almost 171,700 in the first quarter of
2003, up 29.5 percent from the 132,500 Linux servers sold in the first quarter
of 2002. By providing RSA ClearTrust software support for Linux, RSA Security
extends web access management software to a fast-growing platform used by
enterprises for both low and high-end computing needs, ranging from web and
file servers to J2EE applications servers and databases. RSA ClearTrust
software is also available on Microsoft Windows, Sun Solaris(TM), HP-UX, and
IBM AIX platforms.
RSA ClearTrust software, an integral part of a comprehensive identity and
access management solution, is designed to be an easy-to-deploy, rules-based
solution that centrally controls and manages user access privileges to web-
based resources based on definable user attributes, business rules and
security policies. RSA ClearTrust software is engineered to allow customers to

web resources.
