Firstlogic Announces Universal App
Network Validation
Firstlogic Inc, a global provider of enterprise information quality

recently announced that the Global Data Quality Solution connector for
Universal Application Network (UAN) has been successfully validated by Siebel
Systems. The Global Data Quality Solution for UAN is available from Firstlogic
for immediate implementations. Siebel Systems Inc is a leading provider of
multichannel eBusiness applications software and provides business integration
applications for UAN.
UAN, the industry's first standards-based, vendor-independent business
process
and application integration solution, includes an integration server provided
by leading integration server vendors and business integration applications
provided by Siebel Systems. With this validation, customers of Siebel Systems
and Firstlogic can leverage UAN to update their enterprise applications in
near real time with dependable, cleansed information.
Firstlogic's Global Data Quality Solution adds value to the customer life
cycle management process by enhancing information quality whenever customer or
prospect information is collected. Firstlogic's Global Data Quality Solution
verifies and standardises critical name and address data elements while
leveraging business integration applications from Siebel Systems and
commercially available integration server technology to ensure all disparate
applications are reading from the same set of standardised data.
The integration of Firstlogic's Global Data Quality Solution with UAN
includes
the Sync Account and Sync Contact Integration Application Processes. This
integration allows users to maximise interactions with customers by validating
the name and address elements of each account or contact record at the point
of data capture. Designed with a single point of configuration for data
quality management, Firstlogic's solution allows companies to modify business
rules to identify, normalise, correct, and enhance essential data elements
leading to increased customer satisfaction, more profitable relationships, and
