First Annual Lustre User Group Meeting
The first annual Lustre User Group meeting will be held in Richland,
Washington, July 29 and 30, 2003. The Lustre User Group was founded by Pacific
Northwest National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory to
promote the use of the open source Lustre file system for HPTC and scalable
IO. The laboratories are working to develop a community knowledge base of best
practices that make Lustre implementations successful. They also will provide
direct feedback to the development community on current issues and future
needs. There will be presentations from users, from Cluster File Systems and
other venders working on solutions based on Lustre and products designed to
work with Lustre. The registration deadline is June 9th. Registration
