Oracle Deploys Tarantella
Enterprise 3 Software
Tarantella, Inc., a leading supplier of secure application access software,
announced that Oracle Corp. has selected Tarantella Enterprise 3 software as
an Oracle development standard. Selected for use in Oracle's application
development organization, Tarantella Enterprise 3 software has been deployed
as the gateway to Oracle's centralized development model.
Tarantella Enterprise 3 software enables Oracle to extend its central
application development systems to developers worldwide, thus providing
developers with securely managed access to closely held applications code and
data from anywhere in the world.

at Oracle. "The greater control over data and development tools, combined with
developers having easy, secure access from anywhere, has enabled us to cut

Within Oracle development groups Tarantella Enterprise 3 is currently
deployed
to 6,000 employees.

client device and the application server, Tarantella web-enabled applications
allow them to be accessed securely via a standard web browser. Tarantella
