Network Associates Offers Advanced Educational Course

Network Associates announced that Sniffer University is now offering a course in advanced network troubleshooting to provide network professionals hands-on lab experience and expertise to increase organizational business efficiency and productivity. The course is designed to offer advanced training through ten interactive labs based on real-world situations. By combining the power of "learning by doing" with Network Associates' best practices, network professionals can gain the advanced knowledge and skills necessary for rapidly troubleshooting potentially complex network issues and performance problems -- minimizing problem resolution time and maximizing levels of network management efficiencies.

"I'm very excited about this new course offering," said George Blake, a past Sniffer University student and networking professional. "Working with my peers in a hands-on environment will increase my knowledge and further advance my troubleshooting skills. By increasing my individual productivity and skills, Sniffer University is delivering immeasurable value to my employer and my career as a networking professional."

The Sniffer University advanced troubleshooting course will equip IT technicians and network professionals with up-to-date training and skills to combat real-world problems with real-time troubleshooting solutions. With increasing costs of network downtime, bandwidth, and the growing need for businesses to deliver continuous, rapid network communications for their customers, this course provides the essential education necessary to deliver effective and efficient network operations. This two-day class will provide fault-isolation expertise, troubleshooting methodology, and actual training experience to quickly pinpoint and resolve network faults such as bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and misconfigurations.

"This new course reinforces Network Associates' commitment and dedication to provide the IT industry with cutting edge education and training to improve our attendees' skills and deliver immediate return to their company," said Rich Baich, senior director of Educational Services at Network Associates. "With the ever-increasing complexity of ensuring availability and optimizing network performance, this course is essential to providing companies with the expertise required to achieve their projected metrics and goals."

The Sniffer University's advanced troubleshooting course is available at Sniffer University Learning Centers worldwide or is available onsite at the customer's location for larger groups. The on-site classes offer an additional customization option to have the hands on labs developed with the customer's own network data.
