"InfiniSwitch's focus on fully integrated solutions for datacenter
infrastructure is a strong differentiator in an increasingly fragmented
market," said Bill Strecker, Managing Director of Flagship Ventures and former
CTO of Compaq. "With industry- endorsed technology, a growing list of
partnerships, and a solid balance sheet, the company is poised to turn the
promise of next-generation computing into reality."
"The synergies created by the merger are immediate and will continue to
grow
over time," Alisa Nessler stated. "Over the past two years the two companies
have worked closely to create winning solutions for mutual OEM customers. By
merging we will now leverage all of our assets to make this a one plus one
equals three equation."
