BEA eWorld KEYNOTES ILLUMINATES
NEW MODEL FOR APPS & GRIDS
Keynotes from Java and Web services experts to highlight integrated
solutions for software development and implementation challenges.
BEA Systems Inc, a world leading application infrastructure software
company, will feature technical keynotes from leading Java and Web services
experts at its annual technology conference, BEA eWorld 2003. XML pioneer Adam
Bosworth, BEA's chief architect and senior vice president of Advanced
Development, and Scott Dietzen, Java technology expert and BEA chief
technology officer, are scheduled to highlight strategies for addressing the
interrelated challenges of application integration and development.
Both will discuss a new model that converges integration and development
into a connected process that delivers breakthrough advances in
productivity.
The keynotes and demonstrations are designed to help attendees learn how to
more quickly bring to market emerging technologies like Web services, taking a
look at which standards are viable today and unveiling best practices for
application development and integration. This concept of convergence connects
the two most basic aspects of software implementation -- application
development and integration.
These interrelated processes have long been isolated from each other,
hindering the adoption of new technologies, frustrating technology buyers, and
slowing the pace of productivity gains. Recognizing that every integration
project requires development, and every development project requires
integration, BEA eWorld speakers will highlight a model for looking at the two
as one, and will outline a coordinated solution. By providing one
solution for all application development and integration challenges,
developers, IT managers and CIOs can more easily connect legacy technologies
with emerging innovations, delivering advanced productivity and ROI benefits.
BEA is leading the industry in moving to converged technology solutions, and
has designed this year's show to detail this new computing model.
Adam Bosworth will be keynoting on Monday, March 3 at 2:30 p.m. EST and
Scott Dietzen on Tuesday, March 4 at 2:30 p.m. EST. BEA eWorld 2003 This
year's BEA eWorld conference will feature daily keynote addresses by industry
luminaries and over 100 extensive breakout sessions for both new and
experienced developers, as well as executive business sessions for CIOs and
line of business managers.
The Exhibit Hall will showcase the latest innovations, with more than 100
BEA partners displaying their newest technologies and services in over 45,000
square feet of exhibit space. With the theme "Converge," this year's
conference will illuminate the convergence of building, integrating and
extending software applications into a single, powerful framework.
