DecisionOne OPTIMIZES GRID SUPPORT
OPERATIONS FOR LIBRARY
DecisionOne announced that it has entered into a three-year contract with
Gaylord Information Systems (GIS), the software development division of
Gaylord Bros Inc to streamline and optimize the company's Grid distributed
support operations for more than 145 libraries nationwide.
Under terms of the agreement, DecisionOne will provide its Field Deployment
& Support Service for VAX and Alpha servers running the GALAXY(R) library
automation system. DecisionOne will also provide service on library
workstations connected to the GALAXY system.

with multiple IT platform requirements who have selected DecisionOne as their

Field Deployment And Support Service
Field Deployment and Support Service, a Foundation Service of DecisionOne's
OneSource solutions suite, creates value by optimizing geographically
distributed IT environments and remote and mobile workforces to increase
efficiency and improve productivity. Available services include IMAC
deployment, preventative and remedial maintenance, desk side support, and
warranty management.
