NPACI Announce Its 5th Annual
Meeting, March 18-21, 2003
Tutorials will be held Tuesday, March 18. Core sessions will be on
Wednesday and Thursday, March 19-20, followed by a full-day session on
Education, Outreach, and Training, and satellite meetings on Friday, March
21.
Most events will be held at UCSD's Price Center, with some tutorials and a
reception occurring at the San Diego Supercomputer Center.
This will be a working meeting, offering opportunities to understand and
participate in the cyberinfrastructure developed and deployed by NPACI as
an integral part of today's scientific research.
The theme of the AHM2003 meeting is "Making Grid Computing Real," and the
meeting will highlight Grid activities, accomplishments, challenges, and
opportunities for collaboration. The session topics will range from the NSF
perspective on the future of the cyberinfrastructure to exciting new projects
like the Encyclopedia of Life.

Everyone is invited to attend, and NPACI extends a warm welcome to not only
its partners, but also to representatives from government agencies and
labs, other universities and supercomputing centers, and the corporate
community.
Registration is now open, and hotel reservations can be made at the
Radisson
Hotel, La Jolla. Reserve before February 24, 2003, to ensure the best
rates.
Shuttle service will be supplied between the Radisson and all AHM2003
locations.
