ActivBlades, ActivCluster, ActivManage and ActivService elements.

ActivIT is comprised of four primary components, all designed to deliver
the best customer value and experience.
ActivBlades, the cornerstone of the RLX offering is now delivered through
two lines, dense single processor blades that created the industry
standard, and high-performance two-processor blade solutions that set the
high-water mark for performance blade grid clusters.
Single processor blades are ideal for Web service and scale-out clustered
applications and the new dual processor RLX blades are designed with the data
center, research, and security environments in mind. All RLX ServerBlades are
inherently flexible, built on industry standards, and operate in Windows and
Linux environments.
ActivManage sets a new standard in blade environment management. This set
of fully integrated tools drive infrastructure costs down and
responsiveness up.
The suite is comprised of three elements:
- Control Tower XT for remote console based provisioning and performance
management
- ActivStat for "on-the-blade" performance monitoring, diagnosis, and
recovery
- ActivConfig for rapid provisioning and reprovisioning.
- ActivManage is fully extensible to incumbent management frameworks, can
manage non-RLX blades, and provides additional management functionality
through the Control Tower XT "Plug-Ins" -- the first of which is available for
NetApp filers.
ActivCluster Delivers Turnkey, Easy To Deploy Grid Cluster Solutions
ActivCluster solutions speed grid cluster implementations, lower management
costs, increase grid cluster-performance, and optimize workload execution --
all on RLX ServerBlades. Working in collaboration with industry leading grid
cluster application providers and RLX customers, ActivCluster solutions
deliver the highest workload performance and results.
ActivCluster contains specialized Knowledge Kits as an integral component

bringing automated setup, configuration, deployment, and environmental
optimization to the RLX grid cluster community. Knowledge Kits are free and
downloadable from the Web.
ActivService represents the full menu of warranty, support, training, and
professional services available from RLX. Given the reliability of RLX
ServerBlades, the capabilities of RLX's Control Tower XT management
software, and RLX's recognized ease of use customers are released from
traditional multi year server services engagements.
